If this isn't a very standard call against you, then your shoving range needs some work.

A definite standard call if he was BB, and perhaps raise from Button,SB,BB. But more questionable from cut-off. I mean if as u say you havnt been pushing a loose range and have been sitting tight, then the avg case will be that his A8 is beat about 50% of times, wich would make caling from BB make sense since he has clear pot odds(but of course he is not BB here). But the fact that he has to re-raise 1/2 of his chips to isolate because of his position to get into a situation where he is only ahead 1/2 times is so so much more questionable...definetly not standard.

Easy call? Huh? He's asking what we thought of the CO re-raise for 1/2 the CO stack and whether that was standard. The call from the the CO is easy to get.

Maybe this is why I don't wear the big boy pants because I don't do re-raise that hand to 1/2 my chips here if I'm him... unless you've been a lagtard and I've been a rock.
