I like it, I like the flop, don't like preflop but vs. certain bbs shoving would be a big mistake

I think not betting the flop was the mistake in this hand - you are not that concerned with SB so if he c/r'es we simply get it in and whatever happens happens, especially once he checked on that flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're not concerned about SB c/r:ing 2 people here? In a reraised pot and everything, a bluff seems unlikely.

[ QUOTE ]

If the BB comes back over the top you can probably muck it without knowing him better and given the action since the only hand you are realistically beating is JJ and that's too much to hope for.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I think so too, and regarding SB I'm not sure either so betting flop kinda feels like I'm bluffing given the flow of the game. I'd be hoping for 1 street of value, I think, and why not make that the turn or river?

[ QUOTE ]

River is kinda [censored] since the only hand you're representing is 99

[/ QUOTE ]

I was thinking T9s as well(I'd call with it pre here given the odds and 3way action in poss)

what is bb folding here?

[/ QUOTE ]

I was hoping QQ+.

Yes I was debating a fold or a shove, never call really. I don't think my hand is good here nearly ever. On the turn yes, on the river no.

[ QUOTE ]
Sexy, I like.

virtually any 9 the villain had threebet here could be played this way. He isn't betting the river for huge value with QQ+, except maybe sets. In this spot he either has air or a nine and I don't think the raise is sound for that reason. I think it's a call or fold situation even though noone else in this forum has come close to saying this. Without knowing anything else about the villain I would fold.

Edit: I didn't realize how small the river bet was, I would call.

Morrek,

I don't think it's that bad. Obviously if BB shows up with a 9 here he's awful, but that doesn't mean we should just ignore the possibility. It IS Party after all. Def agree that shove>call though.

I think he has QQ-AA only about 10% of the time. Even if he has those 20% of the time I dunno if he folds when you take this line. This is a gross board to check a set 3-way anyways, and surely he thinks you'll raise one on the turn. Your hand looks like an overpair or Tx a lot more than his does. His bet is a fake blocker or a bluff imo. Nevertheless I doubt he has a set or better more than about 40% of the time, so pushing here is at least around breakeven.

actually, I think it's a fold, but I still think call>shove, your hand just beats almost all the hands that fold to your shove
