Buffalo lost the series when their fans got their collective panties in a bunch after Ray Emery said that he'd rather play the NYR because "Buffalo doesn't have a great night life". Holy inferiority complex, bat-man.

The whining and complaining from Buffalo fans and media about Emery "dissing their city" was comical, and pathetic.

you're speculating. there's no real evidence to back up your claim. there's no legitimate reason why ottawa should lose game 2 after winning game 1 - except that the sabres are a very good team. i sincerely doubt you get a line like buffalo -105, but i don't know very much about sports betting.

I'm seeing Buffalo -140 and -150, which is even worse of a price then game one. And they're giving Ottawa a bigger + number then yesterday. Seems like they're trying to get people betting on the Ottawa side. I wonder why...

Whiny article

Good news, Buffalo sports fans. Just in time for the next big series, there’s a fresh target for your collective loathing. So long, Sean Avery. Nice job not scoring a point. Hello, Ray Emery.

“I’m not a big fan of Buffalo,” Emery said early this week. “There’s not a lot to do on days off.”

Ottawa’s goalie couldn’t have done a better job of firing up the locals if he’d called a press conference and brought along our old pal, Willis McGahee, for moral support.

Why stop there, Ray? Why not insult our women while you’re at it? Or suggest they move the franchise to Toronto?

Emery said he was rooting for the Rangers to beat the Sabres, presumably because the night life is so shabby in our cultural backwater.

[/ QUOTE ]

The local Ottawa sports guys had a couple of Buffalo sports reporters on their show yesterday, and the Buffalo guys re-iterated the fact that Buffalo fans are feeling insulted by Emery's mean comments about their city.

Whatever. Too bad the Sens goalie didn't talk smack in '97, '99, and '06...they might've done better than 0-3.

Yay, your team won Game 1. I guess we can award the Sens the series.

Different players, different coaches, different opposing teams with different players and coaches... Yeah.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually no. 75% same players. Exactly same coaches. Same reaction by Vegas to up the line on the total, when the sens are mostly going to be looking to play a standard road game where they can win 2-1 or 3-1. If the total goes to 6.5, I'm on the under in a second. As for Buffalo winning this game, I love it. Vegas is going to give Buffalo a very favoroable line. *maybe* -105 at home. All day...

[/ QUOTE ]
You mean 75% same players as last year? I don't see what point you're trying to make but whatever it is I know it's retarded.
