200NL - Good triple barrel bluff or spew?

I don't have a ton of experience with the villian in this hand but he seems to be your standard tight/passive-ish player. Stats are about 20/15/2 with 30% wtsd. I think by the river his hand is pretty clearly defined as something like a pair of eights or maybe a busted draw, but after he calls the turn, can I get a weakish pair to fold on the river? My own image is fairly standard TAG, and I haven't been pulling any moves at this table.

I'd bet more like $50 on the river. I think it's OK- fold A high FD and if our triple barrel gets called by 78 or something well, I'm not even mad- that's incredible!

i think its ok if villian is passive because he'll be check calling with flush draws but if he had 8x or a pocket pair wouldn't he just bet the flop? if i were villian i would have c-bet with a flush draw as well but I'm not passive. for some reason i get the feeling he called the flop with unimproved overs and hit a Q but i don't have the triple barrel here.
