What KIND of Poker is the softest? (Razz? Omaha? HORSE?)
Everyone seems to be talking about what sites are the softest, but what actual poker games are the softest (preferably NL or PL)?
Are they the mixed games? Are they big action games like Omaha? Or is it Hold 'Em (con: many study materials available; pro: most popular with new players)? What do you think? |

Re: What KIND of Poker is the softest? (Razz? Omaha? HORSE?)
Low-limit Razz (at least HU) is super soft.
I'm no razz god (in fact a few good players at my site have regularly kicked my a$$) but I can beat $10.50 razz like 68% of the time or more. Probably 15% of your opponents either don't know the rules, or mistakenly thought they were going to play HU NLHE. These people approach a 90% disadvantage. Much more so than other SNGs, it gets much tougher as you go up in buy-in. |
