Oprah must be really big in the US, I had no idea. Well, I guess I knew a [censored] of people watch her every day; I suppose they would care if she died.
Nelson Mandela is the one that will glue me to the television. Castro will be the most interesting in terms of seeing what will happen, along with Osama Bin Laden (I don't think OBL's death will change anything in the Arab world, but if it makes the US chill with the war on terror that would be a pretty big impact.) I don't think people outside of England care that much about the Queen. It would certainly make the news here, but I don't see it being worldwide huge like Nelson Mandela. And wtf at all your athletes and artists? I admit that Madonna would be big if she died now, but I don't know that it'll be big outside of the US when she dies in 30-40 years.

The assassination of one of the presidential frontrunners would be huge, and not that unlikely considering the country's history.
When the queen dies, will all the commonwealth countries immediately start printing loads of replacement money or will they gradually phase it in?
