Default Really bad turn card

My play in this hand is not standard for me, I was just trying to mix my play up a bit. But now I`m really unsure what I should do on this turn card given the size of the pot & Villains stack size.

Villain is a regular playing around 25/15/2.8, no real history between us this session, although he knows I could be c/r`ing this flop with air/flush draws or trips

Seat 1: Hero ($241.73)
Seat 2: UTG ($206.70)
Seat 3: UTG+1 ($153.04)
Seat 4: CO ($93.80)
Seat 5: BTN ($174.00)
Seat 6: SB ($112.86)

SB posts small blind, $1.00
Hero posts big blind, $2.00

Dealing to Hero:

UTG raises to $7
UTG+1 folds
CO folds
BTN calls
SB folds
Hero calls

Dealing flop: (Pot is $22.00)
4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img],J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero checks
UTG checks
BTN bets $14
Hero raises to $64
UTG folds
BTN calls

Dealing turn: (Pot is $150.00)
J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Is check folding really an option here , given the fact I think a J is very possible for Villain ?

Should I just lead incase he has a hand like AQ/AKs, or is it just best to check call.

I don't understand why you flatted preflop. With that being said I don't think flush draws,67,lower pairs,QQ fold to your flop bet. I'm not immediately quick to put him on AJ or KJ.

Given you messed up this hand preflop and on the flop (I'd probably reraise slightly smaller...$40ish) I probably jam and hope to get called by QQ, a flush draw making a bad call or a non set pocket pair thinking you might be semibluffing.

though, he's either drawing or has a J. i think draws make up a wider range and if u shove u'll prob turn an immediate profit let alone the times he calls with a draw
checking ain't a good idea unless u have some kind of read

I think the options are shove, check/shove or check/fold, not check/call. Considering that he called your big CR, I'm inclined to just shove go check/fold here. Your big CR looks like you do not want action, so he might have actually called with AJ. Had you raised a more suitable amount, such as ~$40 I would be more happy to continue with the hand here as he would most likely dump AJ/KJ

I c/f . His hand looks like AJ/KJs so much here.

Only other option really is to shove and hope.

P.S. RAISE PF

Thx for the answers, for everyone saying reraise preflop I don`t think you always need to do this ( Sure standard would be to reraise ), I would guess that maybe 20% of the time I will just flat call in this position, I`m not worried about to many flops and they are then not putting me on KK so I have a chance to win a bigger pot from weaker holdings.

My big raise on the flop is to make my hand look like a draw, so like others have said AJ KJ is likely to call me due to this, 99 TT & QQ may also call me.

Result was I shoved , he called with AJ & I rivered a K.

Yeah, but please not, while BTN is in the hand too, this makes it sooo hard to play, and you see, that you can't get away from your kings, even if a Jx hand is the most reasonable hand on this board. You will lose a lot of money with this play.
