Default Trouble with 3bet pots OOP

I'm really stuggling with 3bet pots OOP, particularly with hands like this and AK where I don't hit and of course TT and JJ.

Villain is 38/27/2.7 with attempts to steal at 44%, so I feel I'm well ahead of his range and a raise pf is ok. This is the first time I've 3bet the villain so they got no reason to think that I'm 3betting light. Is it good to Cbet on this board? And as for the min raise...shove over the top or fold?

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

SB: $49.50
Hero (BB): $69.55
UTG: $56.45
MP: $47.55
CO: $52.65
BTN: $59.65

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG folds, MP calls $0.50, CO folds, BTN raises to $2, SB folds, Hero raises to $6.75, MP folds, BTN calls $4.75

Flop: ($14.25) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)

Probably an overpair. Board is fine to c-bet into, but I think there's a very small chance you're ahead here.

You can get away with betting a little less on the flop, like 7.5 or so. Fold as played.

I don't agree with Profish, I think I would've cbet like $10. You can safely fold the flop imo, you showed a lot of strength and he minraises you, gotta be good!

I 3bet bigger preflop btw with one limper before the openraiser, I would make it like $7.5. Without the limper I would've made it $7.

There really is no reason to c-bet more on a dry flop like this. 7.5 and 10 get pretty much the same response from the majority of villains but youre risking more by betting 10 obviously.

To be honest I check this board, I think c-betting is fine though. Checking keeps the pot fairly small and villain can't really interpret your c/c on the flop as weakness. If he does have a medium PP there are plenty of scare cards that can come on the turn that you can bluff at and will get much more fold equity.

The Reason for me to bet a little more is that I would do that with AA/KK/QQ type of hands too!

Villain could maybe think/smell that we don't want to risk too much unimproved with a cbet on a dry board, and Raise so we have to fold a big A.

Toughts?

I play it about the same. Villain is somewhat aggro, so he could recognize that the board missed big overcards + be bluffing with a worse hand, but that's just an example of why being out of position sucks. C/f gives him license to steal the pot for a cheaper price, and c/c seems to just put us in the same spot if we miss the turn.

I would B/C

you probably have 10 outs if he has a pair and this guy is willing to bluff in these spots.

edit: by b/c, i mean shove over his minraise
