Default 100/200/400 Cash Poker hand v DD (A few close spots)

I didn't play as many interesting hands as you might assume, so I'm trying to remember some good ones.

At this point, it's 5:30 AM and only Me, Layne Flack, and Dirksen are left.

Blinds moved up to 100/200 and we're straddling every hand. This is from memory and is prolly a little off.

Stacks-

Layne ~20k
DD ~75k
I cover.

I hadn't been getting very out of line, but I had raised from the SB vs. DD's straddle a lot, just because I was catching cards. He was reraising pretty light. We do have a lot of online history of course.

Anyways, the hand...

I have J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
DD straddles for 400, I raise to 2200 in SB, Layne folds, DD makes it 7500.

As deep as we are, do you repop or call here? I decided to call.

Flop 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, DD bets 10k, I...?

I decide to call again.

Turn 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check, DD instachecks.

River T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (35k in pot. ~58k behind)

Plan?

Keep in mind that DD knows I call light, but also knows I can c/r a wide range here. He also can expect me to show up with a hand as weak as Ace high here very easily. I've been bluffing an amount that is to be expected 3 handed so far in the sesh.

What did you make of his instacheck? Was your check fast as well or did he have time to think while you were thinking b4 you checked?

Seems like he would at least consider betting with a better hand with yours and with air, so I think he's got 55-TT a lot or maybe AcKc.

That said, I still have no idea what to do. I guess I prob like check/call even though it seems like he is calling more often than he is betting a worse hand if we give him that range.

I like a river bet. I'm surprised at the flop c/c though, I assumed the game would be aggro enough to make it a pretty clear c/r.

Not totally sure. He will call thinner than he will VB, but that doesn't account for bluffs or for him raising a lead.

i think i'd bet the river then, but i'm not sure how much

from what i've played w him online, he loves to find reasons to call and doesn't raise leads that often, although that may have changed. i expect you have the best hand here unless he somehow had TT. also, i have no clue how his game might apply to live play with a ton of actual money in front. but i think i still lead, either smaller with the intention of calling a raise or bigger so you don't have to deal w that.

Id bet 20k, but I think its pretty close. I like your call pf.

the insta check really makes me want to bet though since an insta check would be weird from his drawing hands that will bluff.
