7 handed, folds to Raymer, who is chip leader, in SB w/ J5o. BB is short stack with only 2 BBs behind after he posts. Raymer completes (and will be getting well over 2-1 to call a push which he'll have to do if BB pushes). BB pushes and he calls. Why wouldn't he just open push here? Doesn't make any sense to me.

Anyway that's the first hand where i was like "WTF". Everything else he's done has been good.

It's a stop and go the 10% of the time the BB checks and the other 90% of the time, the hand plays exactly like it always does.

ditto, thats a very effective play vs a short stack.

the blinds were 10/20 thousand and MP raised 50,000. 30,000 to call for an 80,000 pot. thats bettter than 2-1 and he has an Ace. A good reason to fold here would be is that he doesn't need to risk a great amount of chips in VERY marginal situations with hands like A3offsuit when he's not the aggressor. i think i would fold too but i really don't know here considering i was the big stack.

When you call a raise with A3o, what kind of flop are you looking for? How can you win a big hand?

I thought this was pretty funny:

Dealer: Fenster finished the tournament in 7th place
Lee Jones [PokerRoom Manager]: Don't jump out a window, Fenster - you've got $41K to celebrate with!

by the way, I really really really hate how Fossilman has played heads up. I caught the end of the last one and have seen the beginning of this one. It seems completely unlike his previously aggro playing. He's almost passive here.

Man, I hope Greg comes in here and explains his reasoning for a few of these hands.

I would have much preferred a usual suspects reference, personally, but that's good too I guess
