first one that popped into my head was burrell vs benitez, was mildly disappointed to find:

I believe there's been quite a bit of analysis showing that extreme individual batter v. individual pitcher numbers are probably just the product of random variance, such that Aaron Rowland is no more likely to get a hit off Wakefield in his next at-bat than he would against any pitcher of similar profile and quality. |
