First of all use a converter. Then, raise 4x the bb pf, remove the word min raise from your vocabulary. Flop bet is fine, I am raising that tiny bet of his. Make it like 12. Shove the turn after you make the flop 12.

Agreed. You played this way too passively and you can't put villain solely on a straight or set here. He could have any jack in this case for one...

Raise to the standard 4bb preflop. Make a pot sized raise to his minraise on the flop and try to get all in on the turn. You have an overpair and cannot just put him on a set/straight on the flop, he will do the same thing with any jack or a straight draw, possibly even with lower pairs. Try to get all your money in.

Well first of all we were in the blinds and i just used the bet pot button, it bets a little less then 4x i think like 3.5x. So my raise was actually .75$ but it doesn't convert right on here.

You guys are all saying push on him, well from what I have seen that this level if the min raise you on the flop and bet strong on the turn they usually have a set or something strong thats why I folded. Also the board texture was very bad for my hand.

You played the hand weak tight. If you keep playing that way you will lose over time. Not sure what else you want to hear.

I don't play weak tight, I play aggro, I play like 23/17/3 I just felt I was beat in this hand.

Im not saying you play weak tight overall, I have no idea how you play. But you definitely played this one weak tight. First of all, this is BvB. That in itself makes hand values increase imo. Secondly you have an overpair on a relatively safe board. If he has QT, good for him. He can so easily have a jack here its digusting. Just do whatever you can to get as much as you can in on the flop and then get the rest in on the turn.

Wow, his line screams "I have a jack" soooooooooo much.

Villains LOVE the minraise with top-pair "meh" kicker soooo much, i see it from this line like every time, and they NEVER fold to a raise. Rebump the flop, put it in on the turn if he flat calls.

If he 4bets you AI on the flop.... I dunno still probably call. So hard to say because of that PF mr.

DON'T MINRAISE PF!
