i justify losing way too much, as i'm sure many poker players do, ie. "well this guy owed me 100 dollars and he paid me, so it's basically like i'm still even even though i lost it!" and such [censored].

i push when it's obvious i'm beat, ie. i have AK on a KQQ board that i bet at and get raised on.

i know what the other person has but i refuse to believe myself.

i don't take notes on players, what they show down, bet sizes, tendencies, etc.

Second guess myself..though it has gotten better:
For example:
2 donks limp..I raise q10 on the button...bb (17/11 type of guy) flat calls. I say to myself "He has a big hand). Flop comes Axx, checks to me..I say again "he hit this flop," and then i bet out anyways he c/r i fold

I tilt too much..

I play back too much at people who are too agressive at my blinds or button.

I chase more then I like too.

I think about my two cards more then my opponents.

I don't manage my bankroll properly.

Whenever I win much in a short time I tend to spew away a lot of it with marginal holdings.
Also I always pay off their expert slow plays because "there's no way he can have anything here".
And I tilt call too much.

if I get up a lot early in a session I just leave. Really really bad habit.

I'm curious about these. How do you guys decide when to end a session?

I usually either set a time, or if I'm up big at the beginning, I'll end it when I start steadily losing, which generally happens after a couple hours.

Thoughts?

i just play until my brain isn't functioning well, or when i begin to sense some tilt.

1. Playing/Raising SC out of position.
2. Willing to gamb0l against shortie with AK pf.
3. Raising too much on lose tables with stealing hands.

What an awesome thread.

1. I need to loosen up my preflop raising hands. Im running at 12%.

2. Take more notes on players. It always helps me when i have them, yet never seem to do it when i play.

3. Only play heads up razz when drunk, because it is so boring when sober.

4. Turn poker tracker on when drunk and pushing 4/5 hands preflop. I run so good at drunk flips it is retarded, and my poker tracker stats need to be showing this.

5. Be a little less of a bankroll nit.

I think I need to set a time. Like i'm going to play 60/90 minutes. I know after a certain period of time my play degrades significantly. I also know that I only play long sessions if I'm break even or losing at the time, but I play short sessions if I'm winning. This is obv. very bad.

I don't think I misplay many hands. I sometimes adjust incorrectly due to my notes on a guy or don't take them as diligently as I should. Overall tho I'm certain I don't do anything too out of line ever.
