Default Is a complete here a leak?

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG calls $40,00, UTG+1 calls $40,00, 6 folds, Hero calls $20,00, BB checks.

Thx for the help!

Seems like a fine call to me. Youre getting 7:1 and playing 2 suited cards unlikely to be shared by anyone else. Obviously you need to flop a strong draw / two pair/ trips to continue but youre only risking an extra 20 very early in the tourny, with good enough pot + implied odds to make this an easy call for me. Honestly, it will probably have very little variance since you rarely flop enough to continue and even rarer are you influenced by those missing 20 chips.

I don't complete this. Drawing to a 4 high flush is no good in SNG's where drawing in general is a pretty big no-no. You can only flop a playable str8 draw if it comes 35x. If you do flop 2pair, you are still losing a big portion of the time when the board pairs or ppl outdraw you otherwise.

For 99% of the people at the table, this is an unprofitable complete.

one thing id like to add is that when you hit the straight, it contains an A half the time, which increases your implied odds. Folding is obv fine, i like to splash around early on with hidden hands, so i play lots of limped SBs when theyre so cheap. As mentioned, dont get too excited with a flush, play it like a top pair you arent sure about.

If completing is a leak, its a very small one that will have virtually no impact on your SnG success (unless you are weak post flop, which means you shouldnt play anything you arent comfortable with.)

It is so irrelevant it doesn't really matter.

If you suck at postflop, it's highly relevant.
