I'd say Boro's going a bit over-the-top, but that's his business and for some reason he's making it the business of everybody else by starting a thread about a dumb PM argument that has nothing to do with politics but everything to do with large egos clashing.

Someone make a .gif of that scene from the Beowolf previews where he's fighting and yells "I...am...Beowolf" and change the name.

Nope, it's everybody's business because he decided to make a private message public.

[/ QUOTE ]

meh, dcfr started this whole fiasco by making the original dispute public.

No, they started a series of PM's from that original thread like two reasonable people, then dcfr began harassing boro over a somewhat minor point and when boro quit responding he made the first thread here because he got satisfaction that it bothered boro or something like that.

This definitely seems like dcfr was trying to rile up Boro. Boro tries to ignore him, and he keeps coming, spamming with PMs, then when he is ignored, he decides to make a post meant to attack Boro's credibility. When Boro defends himself, he is attacked for it. I don't get it. dcfr comes across as pretty miserable, nitty, and immature. Borodog has little patience when dealing with people who attack him and can be a huge dbag then. If you treat him with respect, hes a pretty cool guy, just has a low tolerance for abuse. I don't blame him.

Hmm, well if that's true the it's a double douche kick in the nuts instead of just one.

Uhm, what's with all the haters? I don't get it.

Ya, rly. Dci was a complete douche and asking for an apology from him is reasonable. I'd say Boro's going a bit over-the-top , but that's his business. Then again if it were me that had been attacked like that I'd have just but him on ignore... well... if he weren't a mod anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

Now imagine if you weren't a big Boro fan, you'd probably be a little annoyed by his antics here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok, well, since I'm not a big Boro fan, it's not so hard to imagine, and no, I'm not annoyed by it. Unlike a lot of the ACers around here who are like "thank Boro for converting me!!!", I was AC before I came here.

OTOH, you could argue that Boro isn't even being over-the-top because the person he's talking to is a mod and mods should be held to a higher standard.

[/ QUOTE ]

OTOH, Boro did say his plight was Kafka-esque. Probably a little over the top.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I've heard the name Kafka, but I dunno anything more than that, so I ignored that bit.

Boro's not the one who dragged the flaming over here into Politics just to get under someone's skin. A public flaming deserves a public apology, which is exactly what Boro's looking for.
