Default Double donk

32/13/2.5.

I hardly ever donk let alone double donk in one hand. I've been trying to find more spots to donk, not sure if this is one, err two.

I don't think he's the type to bluff or semibluff raise here much. I'm thinkin he'll usually just call with stuff like overpairs or better pairs, but he's quite likely to check through overcards or a draw. Not sure whether he folds a better hand, but it seems unlikely.

I think you should look for less not more. What do you want your donk to accomplish? You don't fold a better hand, you get less value from a worse one and you get yourself in trouble if he is raises the turn on a draw or pure bluff. Donks screams marginal made hand and my default as villain here would be to fold a worse hand with no draw and raise the rest.

I wouldn't mind him folding his 8 outs if he has overcards. I also would like to make a draw pay if he's checking behind.

I wouldn't have tried this against a good player, but he wasn't that good and seemed cautious enough not to raise alot of better hands, although I'm not 100% sure he wouldn't semibluff so this is probably a bad idea.

For this double-donk to rightly exploit Button, it should be in his profile to wildly overplay flops but tread carefully on later streets.

As a rule I think you should check this flop and see. Should you elect to smoothcall one bet behind SB's call or fold, a stronger case can be made for donking the turn now.

I don't hate it. Villain could have a lot of outs if you're ahead, and may take a free card if you check. Are you folding to a raise here? ... (on edit) you can't bet/fold here, because you've got like 7 outs unless he's got a set or 89, 99 or T9. And you've got 8 big bets in there by then.

lol this whole exchange made me laugh. U probably made the guys day with like Ac5c or something making him think hes free rolling then all the sudden u just fold to the cap.

dont feel too bad though I capped a guy on the river today on an A24r A 3 board when he had AA.
