Default Flopped low pair BB against SB

FWIW villain raised GS+OCs 3 way on the flop in position, and then proceeded to 3 barrel when HU against the preflop raiser and lost to AJ high.

I don't like the turn raise one bit. A villain as described is not folding any pair. I think calling down all the way is your best option closely followed by a fold on the flop.

SB sounds like the type who is difficult to knock out once he's put money in. Given that, I don't like the turn raise. Is it really worth doing this with bottom pair in a 3 BB pot when you could easily be behind? I just give it up there.

Why not just raise the flop and take it from there?
The open-complete followed up by a bet usually means nothing in the games I play.

Goot. I hope you were planning on checking behind the river? I love the turn raise because SB could be holding a wide variety of draws.

I don't agree, considering the pot being only 2 BB on the turn, 3 including his bet. Even if he has one of the wide variety of draws you are talking about, we're not giving up much by letting him see the river "cheaply" by calling his bet, and he will probably bet a missed draw on the river as well. We will never make him fold a better hand. Finally he could check the river with weak pairs that still have us beat, saving us a bet.

This above only compares the call-down line with the turn-raise line, which I think is much better. Even better still is probably the line that folds the turn immediately. He could very well be ahead, and if if he's behind he could easily have 10 outs to beat us. The pot is tiny, there's almost nothing to protect.

I'm raising or folding the flop.
