Re: Million Dollar Cash Game

I dont get how Krantz wasnt invited [/ QUOTE ] Is this a joke, I still can't get over why 2p2 think Krantz is some sort of Jesus type. He won 95% of his money playing exclusively against PerkySmerky HU which is basically free money, Perky went broke and Krantz has barely been seen since. I don't begrudge him his success, but it was the biggest case of right place right time EVER -------- back to topic, how come the losses don't add up to the profits on the blog? |

Re: Million Dollar Cash Game
[ QUOTE ]
I'm really looking forward to watching this. We'll get to see actual sophisticated poker on a televised cash game, not just a bunch of idiots gambling. [/ QUOTE ] I'm hoping you're right, but I have to wonder how sophisticated the coverage will be on a 30-minute show. OP, can you share a little more info on how the show is marketing itself and how many hands per episode they're expecting? |

http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/poker-blog/ [/ QUOTE ] This was great. It explains, among other things, how the action went down on that $800K pot (which they are calling the largest cash game pot in televised poker). |

I still don't understand why somebody is playing head's up hold'em with them, do they just want to dump money? If you ask me, big ego's and no table selection. |

Re: Million Dollar Cash Game
Listen to what I am saying. He is clearly very good to have made a BR to play so high. But running hot against a maniac while losing to the above - PA, PI BT/SB etc. doesn't make him some sort of god.
It makes him good at table selection like you say! Good luck to him but my point is Million Dollar Cash game won't benefit from adding random internet pro's who wouldnt be able to compete. Even aba is dropping buyin's like its in fashion?! |
