What does it mean if my Went to Showdown stat is 19%? I'm down a ton over the last 3k hands and I dunno what the hell my problem is.

There's a number of things that can lead to a low WTSD but usually it means you get raised off of winning hands too often or you are just not getting any good cards.

With better table selection you can work against the former. Avoid tables with players who constantly put you into difficult situations.

You can also try to find lines that don't let them push you around so much. If you are playing a lot in position (as you should) you can take a whole lot of aggression out of the game by checking behind flops or turns.

If you are just running bad you have to hang in until the cards get better.

Just played my first big session at prima (10NL) for a while, it is sooo different from starts. Most of the tables are 65/5 and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get people to fold. I usually get at least 3 callers whenever I raise. Players a pretty soft though. Running at 55PTBB/100 for the first 700 hands --- bring on the downswing

Edit: Just found my lifetime stats at prima, never looked at them before, but WOW --- meaga upswing, prima is rigged - for me

I'm incredibly ashamed to say it, but between the aforementioned 19% wtsd and getting tilty because of it I'm down almost 11 buyins. I think I might be getting smacked in the face with the deck a bit, as I've flopped 3 sets out of 166 times I had a PP. Sigh.

Anything glaringly wrong here? Am I cold calling too much PF from the button?

Just for you cream

That's 2 MTT a week (4 hours max) since March with a few SNG for a laugh.
You just gotta know which tourneys are profitable.
Cash game players look down on tourneys but lol at microstakes doing it As a poker player (rather than a micro NL grinder) you should have a go at finding the most profitable games - whatever they may be. You might get a surprise and maybe even learn more about the game as a whole. Or not, what do I care

Not especially. That's where rebuying helps
Oh and I'm not sure if NLH tourneys are the most profitable at low levels (taking each one individually, obv if volume is a consideration the pendulum swings) which took me AGES to realise.

I thought I'd triy some .4/.8 with 200bb buy in on full tilt now, so I sat down on the only table. None of the fish are sitting down. Why? These games simply have no traffic right now.
