Default has anyone here ever sold timeshares?

just got back from vegas and my cousin and a few others are all hyped up about selling timeshares on the south strip and they start next week when the paperwork comes back. ive always been told timeshares are scams... however, they say the vast majority of people they have talked with that work at tahiti village are making 10K+ a month, and that if you arent hitting the 6 figure mark after your first year they even ask you to leave... this has got me thinking about it a little more, so does anyone have any experience in this industry? is all of it total crap that you are selling to people, or is any of it worthwile? thanks

It seems like the timeshare people aren't just good at selling property...

I don't have a lot of experience with timeshares but what I have seen has fallen into a pretty broad spectrum of crap -> decent deal. I have no use for the high pressure sales people trying to pawn crap off to people, but there are good deals and good salespeople out there as well.

I highly doubt though the 6-figure part.

Anytime you're sacrificing your morals for a job you'll generally make quite a bit more than it would otherwise be worth. Supply and demand and all that.

If you are selling timeshares in Florida or Las Vegas, it's crap.
