What is "chop it" holdem? We've been trying to figure that out at my home game for weeks.

It's retarded, it is basically a satellite for 10x teh buyin... Once you make the money all prize monies are chopped equally regardless of chipstack...

I love Cherokee, such a great room, they totally get it. A few problems, but I had a great weekend overall. A few nits couldn't spoil it. I didn't cash in the HORSE, but I am EXTREMELY happy with how well I played. There were two guys still in with 3 tables left from my starting table and I hope like hell they cashed.

McGill's told me they couldn't seat me for 30 minutes during the dinner break. Plenty of open tables. [censored] those [censored]. I was dressed nice enough last time but not this time?

Quick question re glare on the table.

I was playing in Tuesday's $300+30 11 AM NLHE Event. I got moved to a table and sat in a seat where I could not see the board because of the glare from the lights of the Wheel of Fortune machine.

I mentioned it to a dealer, they said all they could do was bring the board over right in front of me to view. Now this was early in the tourney, but there were at least 10 tables that were not being used in the card room. Some of the other players said they had heard about complaints every day re this same issue, yet nothing was done. On break, I asked a floor person to check it out and see what could be done. I came back from break and nothing was done. The dealer said it might be possible to break down that table next, but when we asked a different floor person said no. I asked about just moving us to another table since they had even more open tables opened up at this time, once again, I got a no. Is this normal? Why waste that kind of money when you get no service in return. At the very least, when it was first mentioned as a problem, someone could have gotten with someone there and had a sheet type barrier put up between the game and the poker area (not part of the normal poker area, just being used during the Scotty Nguyen event.

I was sitting at two tables that backed onto the Wheel of Fortune machine and did not see the glare you speak of, nor did anyone else particularly complain, but ok.
