Default Caesars LV \"re-vamps\" daily tournies for WSOP and beyond

I really mean "butchered".

They cancelled the $330 @ 3:30 for the duration of the Series.

They also completely changed the buy-ins for the noon/7/11 tournies for the Series - cliff notes I got were that the 7pm is $540 on Fri/Sat/Sun and $200+ the rest of the week.

They also got rid of all re-buys.

Was told this by someone who was there today. Don't have any paper info on what exactly the new buy-ins and structures are, someone can go down there and get them and post it.

This is all starting tomorrow, supposedly.

Anyone have the buy-in breakdown and structure info for these tournaments ? (Not much listed on Caesar's web pages ...)

Honestly I think people overestimate the 40 minute levels thing and the 4500 chips with the rebuy. The dealers weren't that fast, and they don't have auto shufflers. They also have them do chip counts (where the dealers have to sign pieces of paper and stuff) DURING the tourney. Why can't they do that during hte break, I don't know.

i believe Caesars blinds are:

25/50
50/100
100/200
100/200 (antes kick in from here on out)
200/400
400/800 (nasty)
600/1200
800/1600
1000/2000
i believe
its 1500/3K

i played with 121 players and busted 15th. blinds were 1K/2K

i think for comparable money, venetian is a better deal. theres a smoother blind progression. however, i think the quality of tourney players at the V's alot more skilled.

Noon is $200 everyday, 7pm is $330 mon-thurs, $540 fri-sun. All have the same structure, 4500 starting, 40min levels, but a few of the usual levels 'missing.'

25/50
50/100
100/200/25
200/400/50
400/800/100
600/1200/100
1k/2k/200
2k/4k/400
3k/6k/500
5k/10k/1k

(..and if you think this structure is too fast, realize that the tourists (IE dead money) still complain that it takes too long)

The 11pm is $120 every day, 2500 chips, 30min levels, and w/ a few added levels (100/200 and 300/600/75 at least). This all started the 3rd; after the wsop, the rebuys will still be gone, but the buyins will drop down some, and the old saturday 3:30pm $330 w/ the deep structure will return.

They're also running single table satelites for the 7pm all day everyday that pay two seats.

I have no idea what you're talking about; everywhere I've heard of, dealers sign a "down card" in tournaments so that they can receive an appropriate share of the tip pool. It's no different at Caesars. Maybe you had a dealer who signed his after sitting down, rather than while the previous dealer finished the last hand? While that's certainly poor form, it's not commonplace.
