Paradise pokers sports book rip off
Paradise is stealing money if they dont change this. First I can understand they need to give back all pending wagers thats not the problem. the problem is them keeping money on a no action bet. Ok here it is I made a $500 bet before the season started on the bluejays to win it all and also made two wagers on the cy young winner Carpender and Santana. I was returned my $300 on each bet but not my $500 on the bluejays. I understand that the bluejays have long since been out of it but players got thier futures back on Cy young candidates that had no better shot of winning the cy young than the bluejays had of winning the world series. The only people getting a refund on the world series future are A's Tigers Cards and Mets and the house is keeping the money on all the other teams. Its call cheating the players out of thier money. I would rather have them keep all baseball future wagers as action and I could keep my 3-1 on santana and 7-1 on carpender. sound off to support@paraidse poker and tell them what you think of them keep the players money

Re: Paradise pokers sports book rip off
no, he is 100% correct, you either continue the futures for all world series bettors, or none of them, this includes the teams that are out. To be honest though I think the books will lose money from this because they are refunding all futures from 4 teams when they would only have to pay out the winners of 1 team, if that makes sense

Re: Paradise pokers sports book rip off
What were the odds on the Tigers winning the AL at the beginning of the season?
Those who are saying the way this is being handled is not unfair need to step back and think about this. The site is making a TON of money on, say, the NYY to win the AL future from the beginning of the year yet do not have to pay those who took the Tigers (who look like a lock now). Totally unfair. |

[/ QUOTE ] a good book would have had the tigers at maybe 40-1 or 50-1 to win AL at the beginning of the year. since sportsbook tends to have low futures payouts, i'd guess they were maybe 25-1 or 30-1 there. totally agree with your reasoning. there's not much difference between what they're doing and simply not paying out any winning bets at all. |

Re: Paradise pokers sports book rip off
I loved having my Troy Smith to win the Heisman at 15-1 bet destroyed.
Just loved that. I am still a little sick. I bet so much on that at the time, I told my wife, if he wins the Heisman, we can go on a cruise. So every week, all she cares about is how Troy did. I haven't told her the bad news yet. |

Re: Paradise pokers sports book rip off
Dont get me wrong, I agree with you guys 100%, its an event that hasnt finished so you either let it play out and pay the winner or cancel every single bet on the event. Im just not 100% sure if the books are making money by doing this, especially when you factor in cy young and all the awards (theyd be making a ton of money by letting them play out.) This doesnt change the fact that a ton of people are getting screwed of course, the books are [censored] [censored].
