MANSION warning please read
Ive just got done reading a long thread over at SBR and there have been a few posters who have had issues with disappearing bets. Apparently bets have been placed with Mansion in the exchange and then they are confirmed only to disappear later on. Apparently, after a few weeks of an investigation Mansion is coming back with.. that the bets were never confirmed and were cancelled and placed back into ones account. There have been a few people with this issue and another one saying he bet a money line yet a run line bet was placed. It appears, this is a software glitch over at mansion. Just waqnt to give the heads up to anybody who bets in there exchange. I don't know if these issues have been the fault of each party or whatnot, just passing the info along.

Like ive said i don't know whos side of the story is correct or if there is a software issue. But i do know they have had issues like using discarded carsds in video poker and a strange identical hand in the poker room. If your going to play there i would recommend caution and record all wagers and maybe a screenshot

This makes me feel less anal about taking screenshots of every single bet I place.

Re: MANSION warning please read
well i am glad i am not crazy because i swear i had a ML baseball bet disappear on the exchange. i talked to support forever about it and they acted like there was no way my wager was placed etc etc. in the end, i decided either their software was buggy, or hard enough for me to use that there was a nontrivial chance i would make a mistake when placing my wager. either way its totally unacceptable regardless of whose 'fault' it is, so i ended up cashing out all my money immediately and only place bets at sites where a bet has never disappeared.

Glad to see that this seems to be more then a one shot in a million thing. They have had software issues and apparently is now going on in the sports wagering. In addition there cust service is not the best. Extremly finacially stable yes, other things are fuzzy.

Hmm, I bet on the exchange and haven't had any problems. I'll definitely start keeping an eye out though...

Re: MANSION warning please read
That glitch was first reported perhaps 6-8 weeks ago on SBR. I'm not sure if people aren't sure how to use the exchange and think there bets were confirmed but they weren't, or if it's really a glitch.
The safest thing to do, and this applies to any book, not just Mansion, is to always record the bet confirmation number you receive after you've confirmed the bet. |

[/ QUOTE ] i think this is the case too. u have to hit confirm twice before it shows how much u have as an "open bet" amount. i know, i almost left an arb open b/c i hit confirm and thankfully saw that my open bets were 0 |
