200NL: KK facing a big turn bet
Reads/Stats
The SB is an unknown and hasn't been very active. He is 29/6/2.13 over 150 hands. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (8 handed) internettexasholdem.com Button ($214.25) SB ($189.45) Hero ($217) UTG ($207.80) UTG+1 ($101.25) MP1 ($195) MP2 ($243) CO ($105.10) Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 6 folds, SB completes, Hero raises to $8, SB calls $6. If I call, the Pot will be $189 and he'll have $90 left. Since I'm playing for stacks, it's either call or push - right? The flop was pretty drawless. Let's say his likely hands are: - Qx (I'm way ahead) - Q7 / Q3 (I'm slightly behind) - 77 / 33 (I'm way behind) - Bluff (I'm ahead unless it's some weird hand like 64 or 75) Thoughts? |

Definitely stack off here since its blind vs blind. He'll show up with Qx/bluffs more often than a set/weird 2 pair hand.

Q7 / Q3 (I'm slightly behind) [/ QUOTE ] How do you get slightly behind here? It's a weird spot. I think he might have lucked into 2 pair, but his aggression rating is high enough that I stack off. |

Re: 200NL: KK facing a big turn bet
In my opinion the preflop action is important. Is he the type of player who would limp-coldcall 33 or 77 first in from the SB (i donīt think he would with Q7 or Q3 btw)? Wouldnīt he raise it? Or maybe heīs trapping you with Aces, but that would be too weird here.
But I agree with GrandMelon, canīt fold KK in this spot. |

If he has 2 pair, I have 8 outs (still a 4.5-1 dog). |

[/ QUOTE ] he is slighty behind Q3 on the flop because any K, 7, running pair will give him a better hand. |

Re: 200NL: KK facing a big turn bet
I push here, expecting to see Qx quite often. Two pair is likely, a set probably wouldn't play this fast. Since you have outs against two pair, just shove it.
