Beat: Almost tear-y during The Iron Giant

I don't get teary during movies usually, only two come to mind, the Lion King (I was young) and Armageddon (come on). Grave of the Fireflies for honorable mention.

Just finished watching The Iron Giant. Even though I knew what was going to happen, it's an old movie after all, something still got stuck in my eye when he pulls the Superman routine near the end.

Damnit. I know I'm getting old when I prefer the superman giant to the omgzor laser eye giant.

Anyone else have a soft spot for animated movies?
