Limp minraise = ? (Hypo. poll)
Reason for this poll is:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...=0#Post10806110 Hero flops a set of 7s a board of AK7 after similar action. Standard is to get our money in easy, but I'd like to see what the consensus is on villain's preflop play. Curious to see opinions at this level of play (so assume villain is 'typical' uNL player: Villain limps UTG, then minraises someone's standard raise. Lets say it's at 0.25/0.50 UTG limps: 0.50 MP folds CO folds BTN folds Hero raises: 2.50 (Holding QQ) BB folds UTG reraises: 4.50 |

This is pretty useless, though. I still say 80-100%. Limp reraise by a normal stack is usually KK+. If it's a shorty, it can be ATs though. And it obv. depends on player tendencies.

This is pretty useless, though. [/ QUOTE ] I beg to differ. While the specific scenario is very rare, it serves to illustrate a point in the linked thread (you always have to think about villain's hand). |

Without a read this is very hard. Shortstacks will do this with junk sometimes. Full stacked donks, much more likely KK or AA.
