Weed brownie help

Most people are giving you the method that will work (simmering butter or oil), but is no where near optimal.

Make marijuana butter and use it for the brownies.

Basic method-
Put water in pot, bring to low boil
Put in butter
Put in weed
Wait 30 minutes or so
Pour mixture through cheesecloth to get plant matter out
Put liquid in fridge
Butter will congeal on top of liquid as it cools and will contain nearly all of the THC, but no plant matter- separate and use this for brownies or whatever

One of my coworkers brought brownies to our work Christmas party. Everybody who ate one got totally wasted and most, including myself, threw up. Turns out they used a whole ounce in the brownies.

Was not a pleasant experience.

Does anyone even verify their 'facts' anymore? This isn't true either, unless you're using some non-fat brownie mix putting very finely cut up weed will work. I had a mix once that you only add water, so I threw in a half of schwag and an eighth of decent bud and they worked great.

Also, the double boiler method is BY FAR the best when making hash/weed butter.

If I followed your directions I would have just ended up with a bowl of nasty ass lukewarm butterweed water with no idea what to do with it.

So the THC remains stable at what temp, 100C? (double boiler max temp is what, just below 100C?

Also, why not skip the brownies and just swallow the butter whole, ha ha... no baking at even higher temperatures means more THC, right?

exactly how do you know this. I guess we got wasted on bad brownie mix back in the day. I never heard of this butter thing.
