Default too fancy for NL25?

This player was 20/13 over about 40 hands. I'd been pretty tight and aggressive and didn't have any loose image at the table. Is this getting too sneaky for NL25?

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $50.10
CO: $34.55
Button: $24.65
Hero: $26.75
BB: $26.15

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG calls, CO folds, Button raises to $1.1, Hero calls, 2 folds.

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($2.7, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $2.25, Hero raises to $6, Button folds.
Uncalled bets: $3.75 returned to Hero.

Results:
Final pot: $7.2

maybe it is. if he had a jack he wouldnt fold a jack here and you a risking a lot. he would fold a 7 to a c-bet and not fold an over pair, most likely float you. the c-raise risks more than nessicary. it does get a few more bets but at what risk. i dont do this at NL10. im not sure what read you need to do this. it worked and you got the bets so pretty sick.

you can't say if it's too tricky for NL25
If you opponent is likely to cbet w/ air it's nice
if not fold

That's pretty standard to me. When I have a good idea villain is a TAG, I am much more likely to pull a move like this because it also implies they are a good player and know what they are doing. That means they will cbet very often and are able to fold a hand.
