well, with the pot that size, and with T's position, IMO you can't avoid doubling T up if he's got a set. (you don't get to see his reaction to A's bet before you have to act.)

So basically try to get max value vs. A and ignore T. which means checking to snap off the cont. bet. You're not particularly worried about free cards, and A seems like he's firing at you a lot, so let him.

This is why I checked the flop, despite the benefits of leading as pointed out by luckychewy. I just felt that (A) would fire a pot size bet no matter what if we checked to him. Considering that his preflop reraising range is likely a little wider than normal, this could very well be a 2K bet from a hand that has no business in the pot and would simply fold if I led out.

However, I think I like a check-call, maybe allow (A) to fire again at a severely bloated pot hoping I am just barely holding on with 1010 or QQ.

I didn't do that though, I CRed (A)'s 2K bet to 5K.

With your image you should look to get it in preflop. People love calling you with TT+, and AK.

Haha, they love calling me on the flop with nothing too and sucking out on the river, oh wait thats just aba.

This was full ring so I was playing pretty restrained, not too many preflop reraises.

i really dislike this smallish c/r for the reasons you described and some others. first of all if he actually does fold qq, which i don't think he will based on the description, then this c/r will just fold worse hands and get called/pushed on by better ones. if you had just c/r'd AI i would like it a lot more because it looks like you are on a draw more so than just making it $3k more and by doing this you commit yourself anyways. basically with kk here against a player who is after you i'm looking to get it all in on a jack high flop.
