People are sick of nothing being done about the whole PED issue and this might bring those back who had enough and gave up on baseball.

[/ QUOTE ]

Every so often the media tries to drum up some anti-PED sentiments, but the only villian they've been able to get the public to hate is Bonds(who the public hated already). So, uh, no, and the attendance figures back me up on this. No one left the game because they are disgusted at PED use.

I think the opposite. People are sick of nothing being done about the whole PED issue and this might bring those back who had enough and gave up on baseball.

Bring back who? The MLB has enjoyed years of record breaking attendance from the start of the steroid era and continued to now. No one is boycotting the game except for a few dozen loonies.

Oh, and once more. HR's are still being hit at near record rates since testing started. Maybe steroids didn't have the effect you think they did.
