Default 50PLO8 full ring KTQ9

Hey guys,

50 PLO Full ring. First hand at the table, no reads. Effective stacks $50.

PF: In the CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 limp to me, and I limp too. SB calls, bb checks.

($2.50) Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Blinds check, MP bets $1. I raise the pot ($5). All fold, MP calls $5.

($12) Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
MP checks, I...?

Flop raise okay? Is this a turn bet?

I'd have folded PF.. thats such a crap hand in a full game from almost any position.

Flop play seems fine, turn I'd fire again.

yeah i'd bet 2/3 pot or so, no low possible and not many cards that will hurt you. hopefully hit a diamond that pairs the board!

You should fold PF and not play hands like that in PL08, esp. not in a full game.

Thats funny, because Ive had this hand
59 times out of ~100k hands, and it is
a winner at .29bb/100. This hand is easy
to play, if it hits, it usually holds, and
if it misses the flop is an easy fold.

I ran the hand 50,000 times and was a winner of about .33 bb/100. The hand cannot be played aggressively, however, computer played the hand from random postion only about 10% of time. If played I would limp and hope to see a flop. GL.

The 9 makes the hand marginal PF. The flop is fine. The turn decision is very marginal... depends on reads, but I'd say you are ahead a decent % of the time.
