Default Player confusion?

Can someone please tell me how it's possible for a person to play 2 events at the same time? Specifically:

Event 15 - $1,500 No Limit Holdem

Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier 34000

Gavin Griffin 3000

and: Event 13 - $5,000 Pot Limit Holdem
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospelier 36000

Gavin Griffin 150000

There may be others; I didn't check that closely. Is this possible? Or is this a pokernews screw-up?

It's very likely a pokernews screwup. Their chip counts during an event are very unreliable. Although, david benyamine did play in two events this WSOP, when he had a final table scheduled but decided to also play in a rebuy tournament jsut before his final table.

I couldn't really see how it was anything but a screw-up, unless maybe Elky and Gavin cloned themselves

I know their chip counts have sucked, you'd think they could at least get the rosters right.

Thanks, Floker

Actually, there are several players who in play in multiple events at the same time. Generally they are in Day 2 of one event and Day 1 of the other, and they can afford to sit out for long stretches of the Day 1 event without getting blinded off.
