100NL TP/FD.
thoughts please.
no info on villain. i'm multitabling without HUD atm. i would usually shove the flop in this spot but figured i had nearly 0FE. i also 3bet pf sometimes too, this time i chose to call. 50c/$1NL 6 handed villain ($105.65) hero ($133.60) hero is BB w/ K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 folds, villain raises to $3, hero calls $2. flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] villain bets $5, hero raises to $15, villain raises to $35, hero calls $20. turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] villain bets $67.65 and is all-in, hero folds. |

Re: 100NL TP/FD.
I think pushing flop is better than this.

Re: 100NL TP/FD.
Isn't getting it all-in on a flop like this your goal?

Re: 100NL TP/FD.
do we have any FE at all if we push flop? I'm not sure we do I would probably just call and push turn but in this case hes done it for you and now we are [censored]. I'd be tempted to call

Re: 100NL TP/FD.
I think there is a chance that he folds. Even if he doesnt, what's the prob here? you still get mostly 45:55 odds.
if you play this hand 100x times and you play like you did you loose 3500 $ .. if you push everytime and he would always call you'd never loose so much. I think you cant just call this hands and then fold to a turn bet. Even if you call and you hit your flush its somewhat obvious what you hold and he will often enough just throw away his hand. Just get the money in at the flop. some equity calcs: vs. QsTs/Ts8s/8s7s -> 72:28 vs. J9 -> 45:55 vs. set -> 30:70 vs. overpair -> 48:52 |
