Default nl25 AK on the button

I know i should be raising 1-2 prf but its usually a hand thats easy to be stacked against for me (running into trips) so i just limped. I also thought if i was behind i wouldnt be improving very oftne on the river.
I see would push in a tourney but not sure waht to do here?

maybe im just really stoned and missing something but that seems like the worst way to play that possible. If your serious:

Pre flop you really should raise. Youll get into more trouble letting all the limpers in pots with your AK rather than by isolating people.

And since you limped the villain has no idea you have AK so he would bet with a worse ace a lot of the time. Its good to know how to lay down TPTK but damn man, if your folding there your giving too much credit to your opponents. The regulars at 25nl arent good enough to be afraid to play a hand against.

yeah i don't mean to insult you or anything. Id say that your not going to be able to play your best and you'll end up losing a lot if your playing with scared money. I would move down a little till your comfortable with throwing a few bets around for information. That $2 bet isn't committing you at all. You can still get away from that hand if you raise and he pushes over the top.
