Default $16s - 50/100, AJ on SB, can I shove over Buttons raise?

Is it too early to be shoving over the top of buttons raise?

I think I shove here. I would expect button to be raising pretty wide here.

Close. AJ would be the worst ace I'd shove here. I would need SOME type of read first. I don't want to be doing it against Rocky McRock.

any reads?
Button can make that raise with a lower A...
I think it is really border line and very read dependent.

Too early? I don't understand.

Anyhway, I think this is a push against ~95% of the oppposition.
Not sure who the other 5% are, tho.

This is a tough call. Readless, or if villain had a tight image, I'd probably let this one go. I think a shove would be ok here against a known blind-stealer or your typical LAG opponent.

I was talking about my chip stack in relation to blind size. If this was 100/200 I would instashove back over the buttons raise.

My thinking at the time was that I'm fairly likely to be ahead and a lot of times will even see a fold, but it wasn't worth risking yet when I can find better spots later. I had AJ just about on borderline and could go either way with it.

I think you have lots of fold equity and your stack isn't looking that good. 15XBB (10X the ante, really) I like shoving this. Like others have said his range is (typically) quite wide..
