KK with crazy flop action, autostack here?
Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter BB: $108.65 UTG: $92.55 MP: $170.40 Hero (CO): $100 BTN: $118.45 SB: $293.05 Pre-Flop: K K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO) UTG raises to $4, MP calls $4, Hero raises to $17, 2 folds, UTG calls $13, MP calls $13 Flop: ($52.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 2 (3 Players) UTG checks, MP checks, Hero bets $25, UTG raises to $75.55 and is All-In, MP calls $75.55, Hero... UTG is a nit, 15/10/1.8 MP is a 25/10/.9 semi-loose passive guy. i think he's got a pretty wide range preflop as he probably overestimates his implied odds and would overcall the 3-bet with most of the hands he called the first raise with. Anyway, considering the players, board texture, and pot size, am I calling here? |

Bet a lot more on flop, $40 or so. Either way I think it's a call, UTG probably has JJ+, from your description MP could have a number of draws

Re: KK with crazy flop action, autostack here?
i only bet 1/2 pot because given stack/pot sizes thats all i needed to do to get it in by the turn at the latest. i agree that something more like 35-40 is better though.

Re: KK with crazy flop action, autostack here?
This really depends on MP. Looks like we need 23% equity here. UTG I would guess has to have JJ+ here. It's also possible that he is bad and thinks he has odds to try to hit with a small pair or he tries to play AQdd here.
I'll ignore those possibilities though for now. MP could have a variety of suited connectors or pairs. Assume that MP stacks off with a set or draw and that UTG stacks off with all his overpairs. Given these assumptions our equity hinges on how MP plays TT-QQ. If he can have even one of those hands here we have a call. If UTG has 99 88 and 22 in his range it's very marginal(if MP only has QQ here). If MP can have more than 1 overpair the call is very easy. |
