wmp viewing question

Hello. Recently purchased an inspiron e1705. Been cool for the most part, but have been having trouble viewing you tube videos and other similar material. Im pretty sure my comp is set up w/ WMP 11- often when i try to watch something, it will skip. For instance, im trying to watch a replay of 'the office' right now on nbc.com, and it skips to the point where it is unviewable. On you tube vids and other shows i watch online (ie south park), it takes a long time to load (if i let it run and then back it up to the beginning, it works fine).

im bad w/ computers and would love if someone here could help. getting frustrating! looks like a good office episode too! thanks.

it sounds that the problem is with the data getting to your pc.


sending a video over the internet is a lot of data. so you need a good connectoin that can send lots of data down it.
