Default Iowa @ Wisconsin

I really like Wisconsin -8 here. Wisconsin played an awful game at UNLV two weeks ago, but returned to form after a poor first half, and absolutely crushed Citadel. I don't think you can underestimate the difference home field advantage here. Iowa is absolutely terrible, and lost to Iowa State last year. They may keep it close for a half, but I think UW's backs will wear down a suspect Iowa front seven in the second half. I'm guessing I will be betting a half-time line for UW here.

(Iowa lost to Iowa State again this year)

Iowa is terrible but Wisconsin's terribly overrated at the same time. Returning to form against the Citadel isn't exactly an encouraging sign because they shouldn't have struggled in the first place. The struggle at UNLV isn't good b/c UNLV sucks. Seems the line is right to me b/c I think both are overvalued the same.

edit--(eight is also a terrible line for the fav in CFB btw)

HUH!?!?! Citadel is barely even 1-AA, and Wisconsin barely even won the game.

Everyone thinks they're great because they returned so many starters, but the few they lost include the #2 pick in the NFL draft and their quarterback.

I'm on Iowa + 7.5.

Only thing that scares me is that Iowa is terrible, too .

Calvin Johnson went to Wisconsin???

No one knows how good or bad anyone in the Big10 is. Wisconsin almost lost to UNLV and struggled in the first half against a HS team. Iowa lost to Iowa St. I have no idea how good (read: "bad") either of these teams are, so I'm off this game.

That's the same reason I took the 7.5 points.

It was Christensens first true road start.. Iowa State plays us tough no matter how good either team is, the year we were 11-1 we lost to an inferior Iowa State team too.. I'm not saying we are great this year or that we will beat Wisconsin, I just know not to put too much weight on how we play ISU..

With that said I'm having a hard time not taking Wisky because I like money

Wisky has struggled against two rotten teams but once league play begins in the Big Ten things change. I kind of feel like the Badgers now have a reason to play and may have been overlooking their last two opponents. I am watching this one with my badgers gear on.

I might lean Iowa in this game just because Wisconsin has been so lousy...but overall I don't think it's worth a play either way.
