Mulitwaypot Flopplay question
My Question is should i play the flop fast in that spot?
I figure a bunch of cards could kill the action on the turn. SB is a LAG and often way to agressive postflop. CO TAG decent player Button totally retard 80 V$IP fish, to aggro etc. just horrible. I´m BB with 97o Poker Room skin Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $3/$6 5 players Converter Pre-flop: (5 players) UTG folds, CO raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (8SB, 4 players) SB bets, BB calls, CO calls, Button calls. Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6BB, 4 players) SB bets, BB raises, CO folds, Button calls, SB 3-bets, BB caps, Button calls, SB calls. River: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (18BB, 3 players) SB checks, BB bets, Button folds, SB calls. Results: Final pot: 20BB lol sorry I played the hand yesterday. I thought i flopped the nuts. |

Re: Mulitwaypot Flopplay question
If u had the nuts on the flop I would definitely play it fast... pot's big, u have to protect against possible FDs and get value from overpairs and Tx hands which would slow down on the turn.

Re: Mulitwaypot Flopplay question
Well, there is merit to raising to increase your equity in a big pot. You can get overcards and things like A7 and K9 to fold, which would be nice. This guy has a lot more than just a T here. In reality though, I play this the same as you did because of the button making my protection play unlikely and my outs are tainted in many ways. By just calling you can judge where you are in the hand as well and then possibly raise on the turn if you hit that 9 or 7.
