get out of my way, you nerd!

it's "Get the heck out of here, you nerd!"

My favorite line is Hitler, I mean Master-D, addressing you as "You damn fool." Between that and the exploding head I have no idea how this game made its way to the States.

Speaking of exploding body parts, anyone ever play the Legend of Kage?

Make way for General Killt!

Someone else misquoted the above to me recently, I blame them.

Also,

I'm sorry but I don't know anyone named Super

I too liked Legacy of the Wizard, and I played Immortal but never really got into it (although it's definitely unique and seems like it could be lots of fun-- I just remember not being able to figure out how to beat anything).

[/ QUOTE ]

From the Wikipedia article on the game,

[ QUOTE ]
The Immortal is legendary for its profoundly-steep learning curve and practically-impossible difficulty.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not sure about the learning curve, but yeah, that game was hard. I spent a lonnnnnnng time trying to get by a certain room where there's one path through and you're allowed minimal slop in deviating from that path. And for good measure, the only way of knowing where the path is is to use an item which makes a high pitched whining noise when you're about to die, and only lasts long enough to let you cross the entire room if you're really trucking. And I'm nearly certain that I must have been spoiled for some of the puzzles.

Gumpzilla-- yeah, I kinda even remember that about it at the time. But I'm not dumb, and I also remember thinking, if I was struggling badly with stuff this early, what would be the point? This wouldn't be fun. It's making yourself eat the entire 96-ounce steak so you can get it for free.

1C5-- your avatar is broken.
