Age of the universe
Hey,
I have a question regarding the age of the universe. Namely, how is it measured? When cosmologists do experiments, do they approximate the time that we see quoted in popular science articles as linear? Or do they take relativistic effects into account? Is the age of the universe measured with respect to an observer on earth? Or something else? How much of a difference do relativistic effects potentially make in these measurements? Thanks. |
