I 3-bet PF. Calling makes the hand weird to play.

I think I can find a fold on the river if there's no history and villain's been fairly straightforward.

I am a newbie but I think you have to fold this. No way a TAG preflop raiser calls two barrels without having top pair beat.

3bet pf sometimes although I'm sure you knows that.

If I bet flop(which is cool) I usually check turn. It's hard for him to call w/ worse there(QJs/JJ?/QK).

As played you gotta fold river I think. There's no missed draws for him to be bluffing so unless he's got over exited w/ QK or fancy w/ TT/JJ your genereally gonna lose to KK/AA/set + occasional random stuff like 56s.

Why is betting better than c/cing? I would have thought that he'll CB a much larger range than he'll call here.

True, but both are OK. Sometimes you "misclick" and call preflop with 78s or something and you can donk into him and take it down. So, you want to also donk into him when you have a hand.

C/c is good as well as it picks up his CB.

Not an easy fold, but still a fold for me. From my point of view you've got a guy in early position raising a good amount with KK or AA and then just betting out on a non-scary board.
