Whatever EV I gave up when buying the $200 raffle ticket was my donation. I'm taking my check for $25,000 straight to the bank. If the ticket seller was at least a casual friend, then I'm probably buying him dinner or kicking him a couple hundred bucks. I wouldn't think of this as a tip, and I wouldn't do it at the time the money is picked up.

Just because some Two Streeter is running this for his New Year's Brigade, doesn't make it legal.

I wouldn't be bringing that to the bank unless I was putting it in my safety deposit box.
