2p2 Help me choose my new video game!

assassins creed for single player, it looks really good.
cod4 will last you a long time online, multiplayer is so fun (360 version)

those are my next two buys anyway

Thinking my choice is narrowed to CoD4 and Mass Effect, both have long playtime with CoD4 having more replayability (online) and Mass Effect just being a huge game. Since when I play RPGs I do my best to complete every little quest I'm sure that game could last me 60 hours at least.

Still gonna be a tough call though.

Probably best to just wait for initial reviews. Pretty sure both will be in the 90's but just read a couple reviews and see what appeals to you most.

1 vote for Super Mario Galaxy, it looks fun on the Wii, probably has a lot of replay value, plus it has a fat Italian plumber. What's not to like? [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Mass Effect sounds pretty cool. I am too busy with Halo 3 and Puzzle Quest. A coworker is letting me borrow Oblivion, which I wanted to play as well.

If I could only have one of those I'd go with Super Mario Galaxy. I'm not sold yet that Assasin's Creed will have GOY potential, but I think Mass Effect and Bioshock (why is this not on the list?!) both have decent shots along with Mario Galaxy. I'd say Mario if anything just because it is probably the most different of the type of games you've been playing recently and I truly feel it is going to be amazing.

Make it easy on yourself and get Mass Effect and SMG as they are both probably sure classics and wait to see if Assasin's Creed gets amazing reviews.

To solve the questions ...

Bioshock is not on the list because I beat it twice within three days of buying the game. Great game, not GOY material, low replay value.
