I had the pleasure of playing with him as he was learning the game in 25/50 and 50/100 a while back. Real nice guy. I wouldn't be suprised at all if he is a solid player now.

He took some players including Brad Booth on a mediterranean cruise to play 800-1600 nl. Gus was supposed to go but was too busto from big game and FT games.

Pretty much the most baller thing i've ever heard of pokerwise

This is what I've heard aswell, but the cruise was intended as a holiday but they got bored and sent two deckhands to the mirage for dealer training.

They were playing 200/400 but it was always straddled to 800 and often to 1600. Its super crazy considering the game was 6 handed mostly.
