Default 3 handed battle with DDBeast, $225

Down to three in a 225, DDBeast myself and some other guy who seems decent but overpushes a bit on the flop.

Hand1: DDBeast has ~10.5xBB, he pushes button. I have ~13xBB in big blind I call with KJo. Standard?

(I lose, double up next hand)

Hand2: I have ~5.5BB. DDBeast covers. Other guy has same stack as me. I push 23s in the LB into DD's BB.

Is there any value to not pushing crap in the LB and giving the otherguy a chance to bust out first? I know DD will call me very light here, although I think he knows I don't always auto push any2 in the LB like many regulars. Still, I can't see him folding much better than J9 here. thoughts?
