Default Are SNGs Still Profitable??? ...a question of competition

I haven't played online in a while but am getting scared of hearing things that people have gotten a lot better...now, in the SNG FAQ it posted some attainable ROIs...are these still attainable or possible??? Then at what levels can they be attained or not attained at???

$3.40s - 18%
$6s - 16%
$16s - 14%
$27s - 12%
$60s - 10%
$114s - 8%
$225s - 6%
$335s+ - 4%

Remember - the FAQ is for turbos and for players that play 6-25 tables at once.

I have "documented" issues with those numbers.

However - yes - they are still profitable but there are better profitable games (cash games for instance).

I just started playing them a month ago, and they have been profitable for me (a few hundred). $6.50 lvl. Worth my time? Thats another question. But I can't stand the swings of cash games so I play these, because they are way less variance for me at least.

To be honest, the low level SNG's are getting tougher every day. Now it not the time to break in and test your skill. There are too many regulars just struggling to get by. If you want to learn by "bapstism by fire," then by all means jump in. I would suggest, something like small/limit/6 player max to improve your skills.

Mr. November,

I know it doesn't make sense, but the figures listed in the "attainable ROI" section are in fact attainable. They are attainable at the levels listed. It's crazy, I know.
