Default Top pair is a fold ?

Not much read on villain, early in a session :

Party Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 4 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

UTG: $617.28
Hero (BTN): $194
SB: $212.35
BB: $232.50

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $7, SB folds, BB calls $5

Flop: ($15) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $10, BB calls $10

Turn: ($35) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $24, BB raises to $48

I'm asking about turn play :
1/ Do you bet
2/ Do you call ?

i think betting the turn is fine here... this is a clear fold ... the turn minraise is always a huge hand

i think turn check and turn bet is pretty close. I'd lean more toward betting if I had QK or QA. The point is that you ahve to maximize value against his middle pocket pairs which i think will fold to your turn bet. So I prefer checking behind and trying to get one more bet out of middle pocket pairs on the river.

would any of you mind a check behind on the turn? there was no draw on the flop, we will hardly get three streets of value with this hand, villain has no more than 3-5 outs -> increased value on river if villain holds a middle pocket pair or a weaker queen.

As re-iterated earlier I like a check-behind on turn. Flop was drawless and we don't dominate many hands.
