Give up, what draw has he been calling you with? The only draw is the one you hold, thus making it highly likely that he has a decent hand (at least in his mind). Players at these do not fold, don't waste your money blasting away.

call me crazy, but I would throw in $18 or so. If he folds 1 out of 4 times you are profitable. And I can see that. If he calls you can valuebet like crazy in the next hands.

This looks a lot like AK to me and without a read I think you have to fold b/c villain is most likely just playing his hand and is very unlikely to go away.
If you had some reason to think villain can read a board and fold a hand, the river Q is a pretty good card for you. I don't much care for a shove, and I think 18 is too small, but you could bet maybe 35 or so and make it look like a value bet. Good luck at NL100 by the way, hopefully I'll see you there next month! |
